The Boardwalk

Monday, we headed out to the boardwalk at Santa Cruz.

Sofia couldn't get her shoes off quickly enough......

to do a little of this......

and some of this!

Her first taste of Candy Floss!

And yes...it is all over her forehead and her fingers.  And was soon after coated in sand.

We headed to the rides.  This is Sofia's "this is going to be 'citing" face.

 

And for good reason.

She won herself a furry friend.....

.....and rode high in the sky.

Daddy was too scared to take Sofia on this ride but it was the one she wanted to do most of all and if Mummy hadn't whacked her head with the turnstile getting on she would have loved the whole thing. 

But you can always count on a carousel to put a smile back on this face.
