Birdies in a wreath

This is our front door. Try and ignore the dirty, broken blinds.

This is what appeared in our wreath between about 4:30 yesterday afternoon when I rested my keys in the wreath so that the kids wouldn't soak them in the sprinkler and at 6:45am this morning when Clyde returned from his run. That is one busy Mama bird!! She built a nest and layed four pretty blue eggs in about 12 hours.

So, the consensus is that we should come and go via way of the back door and see what happens. Thankfully we have a glass door so we can watch it all happen from inside. Now if we can just keep Barclay from jumping at the door. That has got to give the poor bird a heart attack each time it happens.
We'll keep you posted on the progress of our little peeps. Anyone know how long this could take?
