Yesterday, we headed out with our friends downtown to watch the Prologue of the Amgen Tour of California bike race. It was cold and windy but thankfully the rain held off for the entire race. We got great seats just after the 180 degree turn and saw all of the riders go by. What a blast to see all of these great riders in the flesh and we look forward to following the rest of the race from our warm cozy seats on the couch.
One of the early riders. Even after the huge turn they were just coming out of these guys were moving. We have lots and lots of photos of empty street because we didn't hit the button on the camera quick enough to catch them.
Jake took a quick catnap. He was awake in time to see the big names go by.
Sof and Jake hanging out trying to stay warm.
Carlos Sastre on the move.
Lance Armstrong.

The little ones in the Burley -- too cute!
Looked at the video again - past the 180 turn and the Porta Potti - and I think we saw Clyde jr. in jeans and a black jacket. Richard T is yet to round the turn (or has taken a turn!)
