an update.....finally

So, we finally received some updated photos of Sofia. I can't believe how big she is getting. She seems to have found her hands and is quite interested in them. And you've got to love the ponytails, yes all four of them sticking out of the top of her head. Not to be outdone by her new cousin, Molly insisted on having 3 ponytails herself this morning with clips and ties.

a long weekend away

So last weekend we took a day off work, headed to Paso Robles and met up with our friends Andrea and Chris to do a little wine tasting (okay, so there was a lot of wine tasting) and enjoy the company of our good friends.
We stayed in a super cottage at Dunning Vineyard surrounded by beautiful rolling hills covered with vines. We were visited by wild turkeys and deer, Chris made his killer Neopolitan pizzas (I still need that recipe Chris) and we just relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I don't know what it is about our friends but we all laughed so hard all weekend long. It was good therapy. I think this is going to become an annual getaway. It will be a perfect place to take Sofia........
