What a week it's been!!

A surprise visit from Aunty Claire and cousin Jack, a visit to Fairy Tale Town, a first birthday party, a train ride and overnight stay to San Francisco to see Grandpa Robin and the arrival of three (possibly more) teeth. All in one week - HOLY COW!!!!! Needless to say, things have been a little chaotic. Here are some of my favourite moments from the last week, in no particular order.

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY SOFIA!

Today, our dear sweet girl turns ONE!!! It's hard to imagine, but as we look back to the first photo we received of her, my how she has grown and changed. She is a smart, funny, beautiful little girl and we cherish every moment with her. She has brought us such joy and we are thankful every day that we get to be her parents.

A Night on the Town

Sofia attended her first art gallery opening last night on the Second Saturday Art Walk. Now, how spiffy does that child look?

Sofia LOVES Jeeves! She loves Barclay John too, but he lets her get close enough to play with his tail and chase him around a bit. Jeeves is still a bit of a mystery and maybe that is why she couldn't believe her luck when Daddy picked them both up. She uttered this really high, really long squeal. Jeeves tolerated it for about 15 seconds before demanding to be let down.

We stopped at a great little store in Duncans Mills while we were on vacation and I found these wonderful cards made by a artist in Washington. I fell in love with them and ended up buying seven to frame for Sofia's room. I only have two done so far, but thought I would share them because they are too darn cute.


On a windy day her big skirt was better than wings - fly.....fly....fly away.
